There are many ways to clean leather and different methods may be used for varying degrees of dirtiness. So, how do you clean leather? For light dust accumulation, sometimes a dry cloth is all that is needed. A microfiber cloth works very well for this because it provides a very large surface area for the dust to cling to. A horsehair brush is also very good for this, because the bristles are soft enough to not scratch the leather, while being cohesively firm enough to knock off some of the dirt that a cloth rag might not be able to get to.
